Welcome to Prime Dance!
Prime Dance Scotland Est. 2018 by Cally Mckeirnan based in South Lanarkshire.
Here at Prime Dance we work hard to maintain a fun, friendly and inviting environment for all levels of dancer. We believe that dance is the best way to stay fit and build greater self confidence and self-esteem. It builds character, relationships and provides better co-ordination, agility and flexibility.
We aim to promote safe, happy and friendly classes where pupils can reach their highest potential backed by immensely dedicated and encouraging proud teachers!

Meet Your Teacher!
Cally has been dancing since she was two years old and hasn't stopped since! She attended dance schools in the local area for over 13 years where she achieved BATD examinations in various styles and core technique.
During her teens she attended classes 4 nights a week and also assisted the teacher in junior classes as well as being involved in the first ever cheer squad for Albion Rovers based in Coatbridge.
At the age of 17 Cally was accepted to train at Professional Art School Scotland (PASS) based in Edinburgh's Telford College where she achieved National and Higher National Certificate in Dance Artistry. This included class training in Jazz, Classical Ballet contemporary and Dance body conditioning. Throughout her studies, Cally realised her real passion and strength was jazz technique, contemporary and the ability to listen and create dynamic routines and performances.

Cally then returned to Glasgow where she began teaching full time in the local area. Her role was to Deliver the best possible age-appropriate skills, content, and materials (including movement, terminology, music, choreography and technique from ages 2+. Full of creative flair, Cally was always fully involved in End of term productions, managing all aspects in terms of providing running orders, choreographing routines, costumes, editing and preparing music, show location, marketing and ticket sales.
Cally is an approachable and committed teacher with over 7 years’ teaching experience that is keen to share my passion for dance to those that I teach. She runs a challenging, fun and varied dance programme in any location and for any age. On a personal level, am a healthy, fit individual who can perform and inspire physical dance activity professional manner as well as being a role model for the students throughout their childhood to adulthood.
Right now, the aim is to achieve a school with a dedication to dance; commitment to the development and career progression of its pupils in a fun and friendly environment.... so what are you waiting for???
